Principal's Message

: L Valiya Principal’s Message : Government Polytechnic, Kalyandurg was one of the technical institutes established in 2009. This institute is located at Borampalli, at a distance of 8 kms from Kalyandurg, Ananatpur district in the Rayalaseema region of Andhra Pradesh, India. At present two Diploma courses- Civil Engineering and Electronics and Communication Engineering are being offered. The focus is on ensuring quality technical education, by imparting students with skills that will make them employable and also enable them to pursue further education and research. Every year a few new institutions, both in private and government sector, start off in Andhra Pradesh. After the quantitative expansion, the need of the hour is to strengthen the higher education in terms of quality and effectiveness. I am happy to note that this institute with its clear and grand vision is constantly striving to realise the objectives stated in the vision and mission of the institute. The reputation, the institute has acquired and established over these years of its excellence is due to the dedication and selfless commitment of the faculty, the supporting staff, and the students. The purpose of technical education is to make our students think creatively and critically and develop a capacity to find solutions to the problems in real life. This learning process should continue even after leaving the institute so a student should keep abreast of the advancements in science and technology. A student should realise the importance of planning and prioritizing the available time and the effective use of it which are essential to achieve success and should never become a slave to youthful fancies and indulgences. With experienced and dedicated faculty and excellent infrastructure, our polytechnic helps students realize their goals in life. I encourage all students to take advantage of the opportunities provided by the institute and also involve themselves in all the extracurricular activities that are offered. The overall development of the mind and body leads to a happy life. Education in every sense is one of the fundamental factors of development. As a young citizen you have a greater role in building our nation.
